Recently held in Montreal, Canada, from April 30 to May 2, Equiptec participated in the CIM EXPO, Canada’s premier mining convention, featuring nearly 500 companies showcasing the latest in Mining gear.
This was the VRS’ first introduction to the Canadian market, and these awesome mobile, height adjustable work platforms enjoyed a great reception.
The VRS Work Platforms have been designed to help maintenance teams of heavy mining equipment access “hard to reach” places on their gear easily, ergonomically and safely.
In the mining setting, the VRS is mostly used on the maintenance workshop floor, however, they can also be quickly and easily loaded onto the optional custom-built trailers and utilised down in the pit, or anywhere on site if the need arises.
Although developed in conjunction with industry experts to meet the specific needs of mining maintenance operations, the VRS is quite at home, and is becoming very popular in a broad range of Industries.
Attendees at the CIM EXPO were most impressed by the easy adaptability of the VRS platforms, which allow one platform to be very rapidly altered in height to suit many different situations and machines, whereas in the past each situation required a different stair/ladder set.
The VRS has been proven to provide a near all in one solution. For instance, our original mining client found they could replace a whole plethora of ladder and stair access units with only 2 models of VRS mobile platforms. And added to the bargain, customers say they are far more sturdy and user friendly than previous platforms.
Safety, ease of use, and all round single package access solution were key attributes that Equiptec strove for in the development of the VRS series. The added bonuses of tough longevity, excellent stability, and the resulting increased efficiency makes the VRS an exceptional investment.
