Equiptec designs and manufactures a large range of innovative and tough aluminium scaffolding equipment for direct sales throughtout Australasia from our head office in Napier, New Zealand.
Established in 1994, Equiptec is a privately-owned, family business that originally specialised in importing, hiring and selling scaffolding.
In time we noticed gaps in the market, and started designing and building equipment to meet specific industry requirements. By 2003, the Equiptec brand had become widely recognised as the preferred aluminium scaffolding for the trades and professional scaffolders alike.
Exports to Australia began in 2005 and a service supplying highly specialised custom built scaffolds was added in 2008 beginning with a large contract for the military.
Rapid dispatch is a feature of Equiptec service ... assisted by a distribution centre in both the North and South Islands of New Zealand.
Equiptec is a small company with big capacity and expertise due to both strategic alliances with specialist suppliers from around the globe...and our own extensive experience earned at "the coal face". Our success can be attributed to solid values of honesty, trust and reliability along with a company mandate for continual improvement in customer service, product design and overall efficiency.
